March 30, 2015

I don’t think there is a more sacred trust than that of a school board member. Being on the board is time-consuming, and the future of the community rides on decisions made today. (And, I suspect, it can be rather thankless.)

So it is important that we carefully consider who we elect to represent the interests of the kids and those professionals we choose to be in the classrooms. A lot is riding on our votes on April 7.

I will be writing in a name on my ballot. That name will be Steve Huth.

I have known Steve for a lot of years and have always found him to be honest and straightforward about his dedication and devotion to the Janesville School District. While I may or may not always agree with his decisions as a board member, I am confident that he will be acting in good conscience, while watching out for the kids and their teachers.

We have an excellent opportunity to send an experienced educator to the school board on April 7. Join me and write in Steve Huth.
