— FRAUD, reported at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday. A Janesville woman reported someone was advertising her residence for rent on Craigslist.
—SEX OFFENSE, reported at 4:24 p.m. Wednesday. A Child Protective Services worker reported that a 13-year-old Janesville boy said he was sexually active with his girlfriend but would not say who she is.
— BURGLARY to a garage, reported at 5:33 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of South Fremont Street, Janesville. Taken were $5 cash and three containers of Coke Zero.
Fires
— CHIMNEY FIRE, at 4:25 a.m. Thursday at 820 Hyatt St., Janesville. The chimney coming outside of the wall from the pellet stove in the house, tilted down, touched the wooden deck and caused a fire that spread onto the vinyl siding of the two-story, single-family home. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
Charged
— MICHAEL S. SEAY, 48, of 8985 N. Second Ave. No. 11, Edgerton, charged with three counts of possession of child pornography. He is accused of downloading the images on his computer.
— RYAN D. WHITE, 38, of 1425 Mayfair Drive, Janesville, charged with felony theft. He is accused of selling prizes he received from manufacturers at trade shows while working for his former employer, ABC Supply in Beloit. The items, which belong to the company and were valued at $2,782, included a thermal imaging camera and power tools, according to the complaint.
