Ed Speiss was born September 1, 1929, to Fred and Naomi Speiss. He passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, at University of Wisconsin Medical Center in Madison. Ed was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a fun loving person who enjoyed playing games with his family. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing. He will be truly missed by all of us.
Ed is survived by his wife Marian, whom he married on his birthday in 1973, at the Triune Lutheran Church in Sharon, WI; his children: Roxanne Olson, Ronnie (Karen) Hardt, Larry Hardt (friend, Pat), Wes (Sandy) Hardt, Kristy (Bob) Redner, Monty (Nancy) Hardt, and Leanne Hardt; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at TOYNTON’S WALWORTH FUNERAL HOME, 382 Kenosha St., Walworth. Funeral service will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at THE FUNERAL HOME.
