Lois Jean Godfrey, 86, passed peacefully on March 4, 2015, at Agrace Center for Hospice and Palliative Care in Janesville. Lois was born in Janesville, in 1928, to Willard and Inez Davey. She attended the old Janesville High School and worked at Parker Pen before marrying Frank Godfrey on Aug. 14, 1948. They farmed on Tarrant Road, Milton, until 1976, when they moved to Janesville. Lois loved square dancing, bowling, growing flowers, quilting and all forms of needlework, but in her later years she most enjoyed her role as a super-grandma and great-grandma. She was known by her friends, family and especially her many close pals at Wesley Apartments for her huge and varied collection of frog figurines.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Otto) Karst; her son, Steven (Linda) Godfrey; her grandsons: David (Cixin) Karst, Matthew (Danielle) Karst, Benjamin (Holly) Godfrey, and Nathan Godfrey; and her great-grandchildren: Marshall, Arissa and Callum. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; son, Joel Godfrey; her brothers, Lyle Davey and Gary Davey; and her sisters: June, Dorothy, and Betty.

No services are planned, but memorials may be made to the historic little country church, North Lima Presbyterian, 9233 N. Lima Center Road, Whitewater WI 53190, for its maintenance and preservation fund. Please visit the Lois Godfrey obituary page at www.albrechtfuneralhomes.com to read or add remembrances of her life.
