Justice Bradley announces names of judges who support her
PrintMADISON—Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley recently announced more than 170 Wisconsin judges have declared their support for her re-election.
The only Bradley backers from Rock or Walworth counties were retired Rock County Circuit Court Judge James Welker and East Troy Municipal Judge Michael Cotter. No Green County endorsements were on the list.
Bradley's list of 173 endorsers includes 33 retired judges, two appeals court judges and a municipal judge. The rest were circuit court judges. Wisconsin has 249 circuit court judgeships.
Welker is quoted in Bradley's news release, saying she “has a proven record of being fair, independent, and willing to make the tough decisions. Her integrity is unmatched, as is her dedication to keeping special interests and partisan politics out of our courtrooms.”
Bradley faces challenger James Daley in the April 7 election. Daley is a Rock County judge.
