Authorities looking for Whitewater burglary suspect
Whitewater police are looking for a suspect in a home burglary that happened between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, according to a release from the City of Whitewater Police Department. Police did not release the address where the burglary occurred.
Police said the suspect stole a pair of Beats headphones and a credit card. The credit card was used in an electronics purchase at the Wal-Mart store in Whitewater, and the suspect also attempted to use the card at the Wal-Mart in Janesville, according to the release.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 25-30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds. According to the release, he was wearing a dark colored plaid winter jacket, a multi-colored stocking cap, black sweat pants, and glasses. The suspect was seen in Janesville wearing a black and white stripped jacket, black stocking cap, glasses, and jeans.
