Lisa Ann (Foss) Kennedy, age 44, of Winslow, IL, died on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Sept. 2, 1970, in Janesville, WI, the daughter of Darrell R. and Vicki (Jewel) Foss. Lisa graduated from Rockford Business College with a Bachelor of Art degree. Lisa and Nathan Kennedy were married on June 7, 2008, at the Monroe Church of the Nazarene. Lisa was involved with Home Care for the children and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Lisa was a member of the Monroe Brethern.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Nathan Kennedy of Winslow, IL; her parents, Vicki (Ken) Wagenknecht of TX, and Darrell (Bonnie) Foss of TN; sons, Marshall and Anthony Floerke of IL; daughter, Robin (Robert) Newman of TN; brother, Daniel Foss of TN; sisters: Deanna Klosterman of WI; Rachel Singleton of IL; Pam Corbin of TN; Keri Pierce of TN; and granddaughter, Trinity Newman. She was predeceased by her grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, 1455 Mansion Dr., and N. 18th Ave., in Monroe, WI; with Kevin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Lilly Cemetery, Winslow, IL. A visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at the FUNERAL HOME.
A Memorial Fund has been established in Lisa’s memory at the Sugar River Bank.
