ELKHORN—A Badger High School janitor who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 17-year-old student at school will be sentenced Nov. 25, according to court records.

Alfredo Sandoval, 68, is charged with felony sexual assault of a student by school staff.

Sandoval, 956 Henry St., Lake Geneva, is accused of sexually assaulting a female high school student May 1, according to a criminal complaint.

He pleaded guilty Wednesday.

Seth Keller, Lake Geneva police detective, testified at a June preliminary hearing that the girl "was nervous and scared" after Sandoval kissed and touched her in a music room.

The girl told Keller and Assistant Principal Mike Giovingo that she spoke Spanish with Sandoval on "several occasions," Keller said.

Sandoval will appear in court for sentencing at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25 at the Walworth County Judicial Center.
