MADISON — A southeastern Wisconsin historical site is planning a Halloween festival next month.

Old World Wisconsin will host "Halloween Legends and Lore" on Oct. 11, Oct. 18, Oct. 25 and Oct. 31. The rain-or-shine event includes mazes, European fairytales, Wisconsin ghost stories from the 19th and early 20th centuries, riddles, puzzles, characters such as witches, grave diggers and fortune tellers and a bonfire.
