Elizabeth Abramson and Blair Kessler are engaged and planning an Aug. 8, 2015, wedding at St. Clements Catholic Church, Chicago.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edith and Mike Abramson, Wilmette, Illinois. She graduated from New Trier High School, Wilmette, Illinois, in 2008, received a degree in psychology from Northwestern University in 2012, and is attending law school at Loyola University.

Her fiancé is the son of Annie and Ralph Kessler, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2008 and received a degree in economics and entrepreneurship from Northwestern University in 2012. He is employed by McKinsey & Company, Chicago.
