Timber Rattlers top Snappers 6-2

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers won the rubber match of a Midwest League series against the Beloit Snappers Tuesday afternoon.
The Rattlers jumped out to a four-run lead after three innings and never looked back in a 6-2 victory.
Barrett Astin allowed just three hits and no walks, striking out five in six innings to pick up the win for Wisconsin.
Right fielder Justin Higley had his second home run of the season for Beloit, a solo shot in the ninth.
Beloit travels to Peoria for a three-game series beginning tonight. The Snappers close out their season with a home series against the Rattlers running Saturday through Monday.
