Two arrests, dozens of citations at Buffett concert
TOWN OF LAFAYETTE—Two persons were arrested and jailed, and 61 citations were issued at the Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band concert at Alpine Valley Music Theatre Saturday, according to a press release from the Walworth Sheriff's Office and the Walworth County Drug Unit.
Law enforcement made two arrests for disorderly conduct and possession of ketamine, a general anesthetic that produces hallucinogenic state.
The sheriff's office and drug unit listed other citations made at the concert:
One damage to property
Five disorderly conduct
Two disorderly conduct resulting in eviction
One hit-and-run-to vehicle
Three obstructing/resisting an officer
Eleven underage possession/consumption of alcohol
Thirteen possession of marijuana
Thirteen possession of drug paraphernalia
Eight speeding
Three no insurance
One failure to obey sign or signal
The concert, the second this year for Alpine Valley, drew about 25 thousand patrons, according to the release.
This was the second of two concerts slated for the season.
