Why was a MABAS requested for this fire? It seems like most of the fire departments in Walworth County were asked to respond to some extent as well as the Racine Fire Bells.

I did not vote for Mr. Ryan and I probably never will, but that is a topic for another time. I love animals and I hate it when people kill defenseless animals just for the “rush” it seems to give some of them. There is no sport in that. I do respect those who actually hunt and consume or donate the meat to others. I eat meat and I know there is a certain “brutality” sometimes in the process of making it available to the masses but in the evolution of mankind, our brains did not begin to fully develop until our ancestors began consuming meat. (I’m sure my Vegetarian friends will disagree but c'est la vie.)
Having said all that, what I consider an attack on Mr. Ryan by Ingrid E. Newkirk is way over the top and out of line. Shame on you Ingrid. JMO
