Today, the Underground Railroad tunnel at the Milton House is 6 feet tall with lights and a concrete lining. When it was used in the 1800s, the tunnel was only 3 feet tall. The Milton tunnel is the only Wisconsin location on the Underground Railroad that can be toured.
