Jan Congdon from Waterloo urges on her team of Rex and Denny Sept. 7, 2009 in the lightweight (3,200-pound team) division of the horse pull. Congdon placed fourth, pulling 10,000 pounds 10.5 feet. The Glen Larson team won the event. Congdon is one of the growing number of women involved in the sport.
