Protesters lined the curb along Midvale Drive and supporters drove cars with horns honking while Janesville police watched over the scene outside the Holiday Inn Express where Governor Scott Walker was addressing the Forward Janesville annual banquet.

Although most of the protesters were civil and Janesville police reported no arrests, a few demonstrators near the parking entrance to the Holiday Inn Express & Janesville Conference Center shouted at and harassed people entering the grounds to attend the event.
