Area school officials say that requiring a four-part ACT testing package for all high school students will allow for better assessment of their learning and better preparation for life after high school — whether or not it includes college. The new testing plan is part of the state superintendent’s 2013-’15 education budget, but the state Legislature and Gov. Scott Walker would have to approve funding for the measure.
