Fire crews from Lake Geneva, East Troy and Burlington were called to this home on Railroad Street near Ye Olde Hotel in the town of Lyons Friday afternoon. Margaret Plevak photo.

Fire crews from the town of Burlington, East Troy, city of Burlington, Rochester, and Lake Geneva fire departments responded to a house fire on Railroad Street near Ye Olde Hotel in the town of Lyons Friday, according to scanner traffic.

There were reports that Burlington rescue had transported two dogs from the scene.

The Racine Fire Bells were dispatched to support the firefighters. Sheriff's deputies had closed off the area to pedestrians.
