Update: East Troy races into state championship game

The East Troy girls will face Kewaunee Saturday, after beating Neillsville 68 to 56 in the Division 3 semifinals in the WIAA Friday morning.

The Warriors had a 32-28 halftime advantage, but the Trojans quickly came back with a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Breanna Gaspervich led the Trojans with 25 points, and Rachel Atchinson scored 19 points.

Kewaunee beat Lodi 40 to 27, leading the entire first half of the game and opening the second half with a double-digit lead of 24-14.

The top two scorers for the Storm were Kelsey Stangel with 17 points and Alex Richard with 14.
