— The Wisconsin 7th Circuit Court of Appeal s rejected an Elkhorn woman’s case against Google Wednesday, saying she hadn’t proved the advertising technologies corporation had violated her privacy under state law, according to a story in the IT news website Ars Technica.

For several years Beverly Stayart, who described herself as the CFO of Stayart Law Offices, has been pursuing lawsuits against numerous companies such as Yahoo and Alta Vista after her name popped up linked to spam sites for drugs like Cialis and websites infected with malware. Stayart’s lawsuits have claimed the companies are misappropriating her name and violating her privacy.

So far, she hasn’t won a case, but even after yesterday’s ruling, Stayart said she’s considering appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court.
