— A fire wreaked havoc on the main greenhouses at Pesche’s Greenhouse, Floral and Gifts, located on Wisconsin Highway 50, about three miles west of Lake Geneva.

According to Pesche’s Facebook page, the fire started Saturday.

Initially owners thought they could remain open for business, but they now cite insurance concerns as a reason for closing temporarily. A damage estimate isn’t available yet, nor is information on how the fire started.

Check back on the WalworthCountyToday.com website for updated information on the blaze and when Pesche’s hopes to reopen.
