Second half sparks Edgerton girls

A 23-5 run in the second half lifted Edgerton past visiting Big Foot, 57-32, in Rock Valley Conferecnce girls basketball action Thursday night.

Sammi Gander had a game-high 15 points for Edgerton, which played without two starters. Anna Farrington added 10 points for the Crimson Tide.

-- Clinton 64, Evansville 39—Mallory Niemann and Megan Lantz combined for 34 points to lead the visiting Cougars.

With the win, Clinton stayed a game behind first-place Brodhead in the Rock Valley South.

Brielle Greenleaf had 13 points to lead the Blue Devils.

-- East Troy 67, Parkview 19—The unbeaten Trojans raced out to a 30-5 halftime lead and coasted to the Rock Valley crossover win.

Rachel Atchison of East Troy led all scorers with 19 points, including five three-point baskets. Breanna Gaspervich added 13 points for the Trojans.

Mikayla Strzok paced Parkview with 10 points.
