— Got a garage, basement or closet full of gently used items that you just don’t want or need any more?

We’ve got just the solution to help you get a jump on your home’s spring cleaning. Donate your used or unwanted items to the Phoenix Middle School Rummage sale.

The Phoenix eighth graders are fundraising for a summer trip to Washington D.C. and are looking for gently used donated items to sell.

The sale will run from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in the school’s cafeteria (414 Beloit St., Delavan).

Donated items my include: infant, child and adult clothing, toys, home décor, kitchen items, tools, yard and garden supplies, furniture, electronics, or other “sellable” items you don’t want or need anymore.

The sale is also the start of a basket raffle the class is holding. Raffle tickets will start being sold for several baskets filled with various goodies that you can win. The final drawing for the basket raffle is set for March 9, the evening of Phoenix Middle School’s Parent-Teacher Conferences.

To Donate Items

Items donated for the sale can be dropped off at the school’s main office on any school day prior to the sale between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

For more information, contact trip organizer and Phoenix social studies teacher Jess Rima at 262-728-2642 ext. 4262, or via email at jrima@ddschools.org.
