WCEDA offering leadership and supervision course

— Walworth County Economic Development Alliance (WCEDA) will offer a professional development course on leadership & supervision called Fundamentals of Supervision I.

Designed to help address the needs of employers in Walworth County, Fundamentals of Supervision I is the first in a series of three courses that help participants apply the skills necessary to lead in a supervisory role, including analysis, delegation, controlling, staffing, leadership, problem-solving, team skills, motivation, and training.

Participants who complete all three programs in the series may be eligible to receive college credit at Gateway. The final two modules for this course, Fundamentals of Supervision II and III have yet to be scheduled, and will be based on demand.

Fundamentals of Supervision I is $220 for WCEDA members and $300 for non-members. The six-week course meets Mondays from April 15 to May 20, and one Wednesday on May 22, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Walworth County Job Center, 1000 E. Centralia St., Elkhorn.
