King for a night: Elvis impersonators can win $25K

MILWAUKEE — The Northern Lights Theater presents the ultimate tribute to Elvis Presley. The event features a contest with Elvis impersonators doing their best to emulate the King. -- 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7: A Tribute to the King kicks off with the 2013 contestants performing one of Elvis Presley’s randomly selected hit songs. The winner of this round is guaranteed a spot in the finale show on Friday night.

-- Noon and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8: A Tribute to the King, preliminaries round

-- 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8: A Tribute to the King starring Ryan Pelton

-- Noon and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9: A Tribute to the King, preliminaries round

-- 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9: A Tribute to the King, Battle of the Champions, early bouts. Watch as past winners battle it out to walk away with a $25,000 prize.

-- Noon and 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10: A Tribute to the King, preliminaries round

-- 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10: A Tribute to the King, Royal Rumble

-- 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11: A Tribute to the King, Last Chance Round.

-- 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11: A Tribute to the King Finale with the naming of the Grand Champion, winning $25,000
