Forward Janesville award banquet set for Thursday

JANESVILLE — Forward Janesville will recognize nine businesses and individuals at its annual award banquet Thursday, Jan. 24 at the Pontiac Convention Center, 2809 N. Pontiac Drive, Janesville.

The banquet runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 11 a.m. This year’s honorees include:

-- Community Improvement: Janesville Jets

-- Diversity Award: Rock Aqua Jays

-- Woman of Excellence: Karen Schulte, Janesville School District.

-- Ambassador of the Year: Scott Hembrook, Culligan Water Conditioning.

-- Volunteer of the Year: Experienced Business Advisors

-- Entrepreneur of the Year: Tony Huml, Local Vision TV.

-- Business of the Year, 50 employees or less: K&W Greenery

-- Business of the Year, more than 50 employees: Prent Corp.

-- Lifetime Achievement Award: Mark Cullen
