Town of Lyons man faces 10 child porn counts
ELKHORN A former town of Lyons man is facing 10 counts of possessing child pornography after FBI agents found hundreds of sexually explicit images and videos of children on his computers, according to court documents.
Tony Zeisse was arrested Feb. 16 after the file-sharing networks he is accused of using to download child pornography led authorities to the town of Lyons home where Zeisse lived with his mother, according to a criminal complaint.
Zeisse, 34, was released on bond Feb. 19 and will make an initial appearance in Walworth County Court on March 8. A condition of Zeisse’s bond is that he cannot use any device that has Internet access.
Authorities said FBI agents downloaded eight video files of child pornography on a file-sharing network between July and October of 2012. The downloads came from an IP address at Zeisse’s mother’s home on Creek Side Drive in the town of Lyons.
Court documents indicate Zeisse recently has moved to Oak Creek.
When agents searched the home, they found a desktop computer with, “at least 250 files with filenames indicative of child pornography,” according to a criminal complaint. A search of that computer and another laptop found at the home revealed 477 images and 61 videos of “suspected child pornography,” the complaint reads.
Zeisse admitted using a number of file-sharing programs to collect child pornography, authorities said.
His attorney, Susan Karaskiewicz, said Zeisse plans to plead not guilty, but she declined to otherwise comment.
Zeisse pleaded guilty in 2000 to two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and one count of sex with a child older than 16. Court records show he was sentenced to three years of probation after having sex with a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old in 1998.
Each count carries a maximum of 25 years in prison.
