Beloit Turner School District plans referendum meetings

— The Turner School District is planning public information meetings for its April 2 referendum.

The referendum seeks $28 million to build a new, 600-student high school on district-owned property behind the current middle/high schools.

Meetings will be at:

-- 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, in the library of the middle/high school complex, 1237 Inman Parkway. The date coincides with the Town of Beloit Fire Department Pancake Breakfast.

-- 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the library of the middle/high school complex.

Board members and staff will give a brief presentation and answer questions.
