Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JORDAN M. BUGGS, 22, of 111 W. High St., Milton, at 2:53 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot at Racine Street and Randall Avenue, Janesville.

-- BATTERY CAUSING BODILY HARM, WITH RISK OF GREAT BODILY HARM, TO A PERSON AGE 62 OR OVER at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, when a 65-year-old woman who was being treated at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center told police that a patron of Riders Inn, 721 Center Ave., Janesville, had beaten her the night before.

-- FELONY CHILD ABUSE reported at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at a home on Main Street in Janesville. A man is reported to have shoved a child's head into a wall.

Charged

-- MICHAEL G. KLEINSCHMIDT, 34, of 417 Center Ave., Janesville, with strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct after a reported domestic disturbance at his home in December.

-- TODD A. BOBZIEN, 23, of 1210 Kellogg Ave., No. 6, Janesville, with battery, two counts of felony bail-jumping and one count of misdemeanor bail-jumping. He is accused of pushing a female acquaintance at a Janesville home in November.

-- PERRY L. SIMMONS, 42, Brown Deer, with forgery. He is accused of cashing a forged check in the amount of $1,874 at a town of Beloit bank in October.

-- BRIANA D. GOLDEN, 22, Madison, with forgery and theft. She is accused of cashing stolen checks from a Milton bank in August.

-- JASON K. WERNER, 27, Spring Grove, Ill., and JACQUELYN BUCHHOLZ, 24, Johnsburg, Ill., with party to burglary and party to theft. They are accused of breaking into a town of Turtle home in August and taking guitars, an amplifier, jewelry and collectibles. They told police they targeted the home because residents were listed as survivors on an obituary published in local newspaper. They went to the home during the published time of the funeral.
