Balanced scoring downs Milton girls
MILTON Eight players scored to lead a balanced Monona Grove attack that helped the visiting Silver Eagles to a 57-44 victory over Milton in a Badger Conference South girls basketball game Monday night.
Monona Grove used a 15-7 advantage in the third quarter to build on a 27-24 halftime lead.
Morgan Blumer led the Red Hawks with 18 points, including a 10-of-10 performance from the free-throw line. Liz Westrick added nine points.
