WHITEWATER--The wait is almost over for the new "Meisner Time" CD.

The original recording session took place on January 24 and 25, 2011, and a little over two years later, the CDs are ready.

To help celebrate, Steve and the band will be hosting a CD release party on Saturday, February 9th at Rick’s Eastside Pub, 561 E. Milwaukee St., Whitwater, starting at 2:00 PM.

Not only will you be able to hear the actual recording band and pick up a copy of the brand new "Meisner Time" CD, but anyone who purchases a CD will also get a Meisner Time T-Shirt free of charge. Limit one per person.

Mesiner is an award-winning musician, composer and arranger who began playing the accordion at age 5. He is a second-generation full time working musician. His father, the late Verne Meisner, had a successful music career for over 50 years. Steve Meisner combines traditional American polka with his own updated style.

"Meisner Time" CDs along with some pre-view samples from the CD are now available on-line from Steve Meisner's website. Hear portions of six songs from the new CD before ordering it, or join the party on Saturday.
