— Garrett Cary, who helped lead Walworth Big Foot to the Division 4 state title game this past season, signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday with the University of North Dakota.

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound Cary was named to the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Class 4A all-state team as a junior and senior as both an offensive and defensive lineman.

Cary was named the Rock Valley Conference Lineman of the Year in 2012 and started all four years on the defensive line, including as a freshman when the Chiefs won the Division 4 state title.

Cary's teammate at Big Foot, Mason Dixon, is also expected to play collegiately. The 5-10, 200-pound Dixon, an all-state running back and the all-time leading scorer in program history, plans to play at Beloit College.
