Elkhorn man killed in head-on collision in Delavan

DELAVAN — An Elkhorn man was killed in a head-on crash Friday evening on Wisconsin Highway 50 in Delavan, according to a story in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Brad Zimmerman, 43, of Elkhorn, was identified as the driver of the car.
City of Delavan Police Chief Timothy O'Neill said today that Zimmerman's car was eastbound on Highway 50 when it swerved into the oncoming traffic lane and hit a westbound car, according to the story.
O'Neill said other drivers reported Zimmerman driving erratically before the accident happened at 6:14 p.m. Sept. 14.
Zimmerman was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital in Walworth.
One of the passengers in the car Zimmerman hit was injured and taken by Flight for Life to Mercy Hospital, and is reported in good condition, the story noted.
