East Troy police investigating gas station robbery

East Troy police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday at the Road Ranger gas station/truck stop, located at 2489 Main St., in the village of East Troy, according to a press release from the Village of East Troy Police Department.

According to the release, a truck driver at the gas station who had been parked in the rear of the building was approached shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday by a white male in his 20s, showing an unknown weapon and demanding money.

East Troy police, who were assisted by the Walworth County Sheriff's Office in responding to the incident, are requesting anyone at the Road Ranger during the time of the robbery or anyone with information to contact the police department at (262) 642-6250.
