WALWORTH COUNTY — Beware: Costumed characters will hit the sidewalks and subdivisions soon in search of sweets.

Here are the trick-or-treat hours around the area, listed by municipality:

Bloomfield: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

Bloomfield Township: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

Burlington: The city and town of Burlington will hold their annual trick-or-treat from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.

Darien: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

Darien Township: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

Delavan: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, parade at 6:30 p.m.

Delavan Township: noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, with Halloween party at Community Center from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

East Troy: 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.

East Troy Township: 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

East Troy Electric Railroad: Tracks & Treats, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sat., Oct. 27 and Sun., Oct. 28. Costumed train personnel, children receive treats. ETER is located at 2002 Church St. in East Troy.

Elkhorn: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

Fontana: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

Frank’s Piggly Wiggly: Halloween party, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29. The Smage Brothers perform at 6:15 p.m. Frank’s is located at Market Street and Wisconsin Highway 67/12 in Elkhorn.

Geneva Lake Museum: Trick-or-treating and Halloween parade, Sunday, Oct. 28, 255 Mill St., Lake Geneva. Free admission from noon to 1 p.m. Kids should come in costume and join in the parade at 12:30 p.m. (262) 248-6060, www.genevalakemuseum.org

Sharon: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31
