Vortex Conference coming to Burlington

Everything from the ancient history of the mound builders to alien abductions will be discussed at the fifth annual Burlington Vortex Conference, running Friday, Oct. 26 through Sun., Oct. 28 at the Sci Fi Café, 532 N. Pine St. in Burlington.

Crop circles, time travel, UFOs and even the lost continent of Atlantis are also on tap during the conference.

Program speakers include Linda Godfrey, author of “Beast of Bray Road” and “Monsters of Wisconsin,” and Roswell UFO researcher Don Schmitt.

The café will also host “Haunted Cellar” tours.

Single-session tickets are $25 at the door. All –day passes for lectures are $120.
