Jerry Pawlak, once a maitre d' at the Playboy Club in Lake Geneva, poses with a few of the Playboy Bunnies in this undated file photo. Brian Peters is looking for former workers of the club to share their stories and photos for a book he's writing.

St. Louis native Brian Peters continues to look for memories and photos from those who once worked at the former Lake Geneva Playboy Club.

In an email, Peters said he plans to write a “coffee table-type book”—complete with photographs and remembrances—of the club, now the Grand Geneva Resort at 7036 Grand Geneva Way.

Those with photos to share can either scan and email them at ohbp2002@yahoo.com, or send them to him via mail at Brian Peters, 1808 Diane Drive, St. Louis MO 63125. He promised to scan the original photographs and return them by mail.

While he’s “interested in anything and everything,” he’s specifically looking for interior club pictures, exteriors of the building, staff/bunny photos and pictures of the grounds or club architectural drawings.

He’s also asking former employees with stories to share to either email him or send him a handwritten or typed memory by mail.

“I am interested in and all unique club stories,” he wrote. “Please provide as much detail as you can remember; it can be as simple as a short paragraph or multiple pages—it is really up to you.”

He also includes a few questions to spur responses:

What was it like working at the club?

What were your roles/responsibilities there?

Any encounters with famous people?

Any funny/unique stories?

Weirdest story from the club?

Any life-lesson learned from working at the club?
