Walworth County holds ‘Clean Sweep’ this weekend

— A Clean Sweep event, letting Walworth County residents bring in pharmaceuticals and household waste will be held this weekend.

Unwanted prescription drugs and household waste—including mercury bulbs, oil, antifreeze, and vehicle and rechargeable batteries—can be brought to the following locations:

Whitewater Public Works Complex, 150 E. Starin Road, Whitewater, from 3 to 6 p.m., Fri., Oct. 5.

Town of Linn Municipal Garage, N611 Zenda Road, Zenda, from 3 to 6 p.m., Fri., Oct. 5.

Walworth County Public Works Department, W3097 County Highway NN in Elkhorn, from 8 a.m. to noon on Sat., Oct. 6.
