Suspect sought in assault
WALWORTH Police in Walworth County and Harvard, Ill., are looking for a man they say assaulted a woman he was in a relationship with.
At 12:24 a.m. Monday, Walworth police found a 39-year-old woman in a car on Williams Street, Walworth, according to a news release from the Walworth County Sheriff's Office.
The woman, who had head and facial injuries, was transported for medical attention.
The woman told police she was battered at the home of Jose Enriquez-Hernandez, 45, of Harvard, Ill., according to the news release.
Harvard police will be seeking an arrest warrant charging Enriquez-Hernandez with two counts of aggravated domestic battery and two counts of aggravated kidnapping.
Enriquez-Hernandez might be armed and should be considered dangerous. Anyone with information about his location can call the Harvard Police Department at (815) 943-4431, the Walworth County Sheriff's Office at (262) 741-4400 or 911.
