Fury drop three in Black River Falls

BLACK RIVER FALLS — The Rock County Fury came up empty Sunday at the Black River Falls Tournament, losing three straight nonconference girls hockey matches.

The Fury lost 4-2 to River Falls, 4-3 to Marshfield and 7-0 to Middleton.

"We should have come out of this tournament with two victories," Fury coach Darrel Moore said. "We were not able to put together three complete periods in any of the games.''

Despite the losses, Moore said Robin Robles, Joan Reddell, Ellie Woodman, Bailey McKillips, Kayla Kaufman and Mollie Gross played well.

The Fury travel tonight to Stoughton.
