— Republican Mitt Romney plans to campaign Friday in Wisconsin.

The visit announced Wednesday by his campaign was originally set for Monday but was canceled due to superstorm Sandy on the East Coast.

A Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday shows Romney trailing President Barack Obama by 8 points in Wisconsin. Obama was ahead 51 percent to 43 percent.

The poll of 1,243 likely voters was done between Oct. 25 and Sunday and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points.

Obama plans to be in Green Bay on Thursday. Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is in the state Wednesday and Vice President Joe Biden is coming Friday.
