Lynch Diversified Vehicles, a Burlington manufacturer of specialty vehicles, will add about 17 new jobs when it expands with an addition this year, and be eligible for tax credits, according to a news release from Gov. Scott Walker’s office.

LDV can earn up to $107,500 in tax credits through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. to help with its planned 25,000-square foot addition, the release noted. The credits will be distributed annually in direct relation to the number of jobs retained and new, full-time positions created and filled over a three-year period.

LDV, which currently employs 165 people, makes emergency response and mobile command center vehicles. It also makes commercial interiors for vehicles such as tool trucks. Its customer base is both nationwide and international, according to its website.

CEO David Lynch is awaiting state approval for construction of the estimated $2 million addition, and hopes to complete it this fall.
