Richmond builder offers new car with home purchase

RICHMOND, ILL. — One Richmond builder is hoping their offer is too good to refuse: buy a new house and you'll get a 2012 Toyota Prius parked in your new driveway at closing, according to a report from American Banking & Market News.

KLM Builders, which does business in custom and semi-custom homes in McHenry County, is giving away a brand new eco-friendly car to the first five homebuyers at two of their developed communities in Richmond and Spring Grove.

KLM homes incorporates energy-saving features, from windows and insulations to Energy Star lighting and appliances.

Prices for the custom ranch and two-story homes on wooded sites start in the $170s.
