— Add the town of Linn to area communities issuing a burn ban because of the extreme dryness in southeastern Wisconsin.

According to an email from the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, Linn's town board has declared a ban of all outdoor burning, including setting off any consumer fireworks--even sparklers.

The ban does not include use of charcoal or gas-fired grills for cooking.

Earlier this week, the city of Lake Geneva and the town of East Troy issued burn bans.
