Elkhorn man dies in early morning crash in La Grange

LA GRANGE TOWNSHIP — Dylan O. Kaminski, 23, of Elkhorn, died in a single-vehicle crash that happened at 2:58 a.m. Sunday on Territorial Road, just east of Tamarack Road in the town of La Grange, according to a Walworth County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Kaminski was driving a 2006 Subaru Legacy westbound on Territorial road when he left the roadway and entered the eastbound lane before moving into the south side ditch. He struck a tree on the south side of the road, hitting it broadside on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Although he was wearing his seatbelt and was not ejected from the car, he sustained critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kaminski was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
An autopsy will be performed later this week to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
The Walworth County Sheriff’s Crash Investigation Unit was assisted by the La Grange Fire and Rescue units in the accident.
