Enjoy Whitewater's Savory Sounds concerts

Audience members enjoyed the first Savory Sounds Concert at the Cultural Arts Center in Whitewater featuring Daylilies A Cappella Chorus. Concerts will run June 28, July 12, 19 and 26. Photo submitted.

WHITEWATER--Steve Meisner and Friends will be playing from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., June 28 at the Savory Sounds Concert, held at the Birge Fountain in front of Whitewater's Cultural Arts Center, 402 W. Main Street.

Remaining concerts, also running from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., will be:

--July 12, The Dirty Bucket Band, blue grass and other folk styles

--July 19, UW-Whitewater Faculty Brass Quintet

--July 26, Jay Craggs and Friends, jazz

(no concert on July 5)

Attendees may bring their own lunch or order lunch from participating vendors--which include Subway, SweetSpot, La Preferida, The Black Sheep and Rocky Rococo Pizza.

The concerts are sponsored by Whitewater Arts Alliance, in partnership with Quiet Hut Sports, Olm & Associates, First Citizens State Bank, Commercial Bank, Fairhaven Senior Services and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education.
