Country Thunder music festival draws over 33,000

TWIN LAKES--Country Thunder's line-up last weekend, which included Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Luke Bryan, Big & Rich and more acts, drew a capacity crowd of 33,268 people on site.

Festival officials remind fans they can get four-day tickets for 2013, as well as reserved (RSVD) tickets and camping at www.countrythunder.com or by calling (866) 802-6418.

The music festival also offered additional activities ranging from helicopter rides to mechanical bull riding and the human slingshot.

Here are a few other Country Thunder weekend fun facts, according to officials:

--1.3 million kernels of popcorn popped

--73,971 rolls of toilet paper provided

--48,074 bags of ice used

--23,756 people danced under the Electric Thunder tent

--18,868 hand-dipped corn dogs eaten

--18,033 hot dogs served

--17,759 hamburgers served

--12,970 pictures taken at the GAC (Great American Country) Television Bus

--10,963 lemonades sold

--8,467 Country Thunder T-shirts sold

--7,902 funnel cakes eaten

--5,439 cowboy hats sold

--68 tons of garbage
