Investment firm commits $20 million to Buell
EAST TROY Erik Buell Racing received a $20 million commitment from FirstPathway Partners, a Milwaukee-based investment fund manager, according to a story in the Business Journal.
The funds will let the East Troy motorcycle company design and produce a $20,000 model of its street bike and expand its exports.
FirstPathway said the new investment also will allow ERB to expand its facility and create new jobs.
Buell created an American-made sports bike under Harley-Davidson, then on his own in 2009.
