— Two bridges on County Highway X are scheduled for total reconstruction projects beginning July 23, according to the Walworth County Public Works Department.

"These are big projects, but really need to be worked on," said Jack Delaney, assistant superintendent in the department.

The first bridge is located between Salt Box Road and County Trunk Highway C, and spans the Wisconsin Southern Railroad tracks.

The second bridge is located between Temperance Trail and S&D Townline Road, and this bridge spans the Little Turtle Creek. Both bridges are scheduled to be completed by Oct. 31. During this time, both bridges will be closed to all traffic.

There will be a marked detour. The detour will begin from the intersection of Wisconsin Highway 14 and County Highway X, westbound to I-43, south to Wisconsin Highway 140 at exit 6, and south on Wisconsin Highway 140 to the intersection of County Highway X. Northbound traffic will reverse the detour route.
