— Twenty-three auditioning contestants made the cut for the Walworth County Fair's 2012 America's Got Talent competition on June 20.

The contest, sponsored by Kunes County Automotive Group, will showcase local talent, much like the popular TV show "America's Got Talent."

According to the Walworth County Fairgrounds' website, audition winners were:

The first round for the competition will be held Fri., July 27 at 6 p.m. in the old courthouse park on the square in downtown Elkhorn.

There is no charge for admission.

A wild card round will be held July 28 at Kunes Automotive in Delavan. Semi-finals will be held Aug. 29 at the fairgrounds in Elkhorn.
